Still Spirits T500 Alembic Dome
The Still Spirits T500 Alembic Dome is part of the equipment required to transform the Grainfather G30 Brewing System into a pot still. To be used with the Still Spirits T500 Alembic Condenser (sold separately).
Transform the Grainfather G30 Brewing System into a pot still by attaching the Still Spirits T500 Alembic Dome and Condenser (sold separately).
Whiskeys are made from grain and follow a similar process to brewing beer in the Grainfather G30. After fermenting the whiskey wash, use the dome and condenser to distill a full-flavoured, rich-tasting whiskey. This distilling set up can also be used to distill water and hydrosols or to produce other full-flavoured spirits such as bourbon, rum, and brandy.
The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapour from the wort or wash and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas. The copper also removes unwanted sulphur compounds from the vapour. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter-tasting spirit.
